So while I'm shooting elsewhere, Carol, as is often the case, was scouting out another location. She spotted three trees in the Parker Group grove on Crescent Meadow Road. People were standing in the openings between the trees having pictures taken. The trees didn't interest me until stepping in between them and looking towards the top of the trees—the perspective was breath taking. Ordinarily claustrophobic, a few deep breathes helped. Then the sun did its magic, forming a half circle of warm light around the tree on the lower left. It was an aha moment! Thanks my love, for your wonderful eye and encouragement.
